6.8 REMOVING/INSTALLING WIRE
The EMP 285ic will handle bobbin sizes of 100 mm (4 in.), 200 mm (8 in.) and 300 mm (12 in.).
See TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS section for suitable wire dimensions for each wire type.

NOTE
If installing aluminum wire, see Section 6.9.
WARNING
Do not place or point the torch near the face, hand or body as this may result in injury.
NOTE
Make sure the correct wire-feed rollers are selected.
NOTE
Remember to use the correct contact tip in the welding
torch for the wire diameter used.
