SECTION 8 MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Power should be turned off for maintenance.
CAUTION
Only authorized persons may remove the cover of this product or carry out service,
CAUTION
This product is covered by manufacturer’s warranty. Any attempt to carry out repair work by
non-authorized service centers will invalidate the warranty.
CAUTION
Before each use, make sure:
The torch body and torch cable and leads are not damaged
The contact tip on the torch is not damaged
The nozzle on the torch is clean and does not contain any debris.
Perform maintenance more often during severe dusty
NOTE
There are no user serviceable parts inside of the power
supply side of the EMP unit. Any need for service on the
electronics/electrical-power side should be referred to
the nearest ESAB service center.
