Product diverges
laterally on the
rollers, possibly
beyond the roller
ends.
Gap 1 (nip gap) in ratio to
gap 2 too large, this
causes more product to the
pulled in than gap 2 can
take over.
Reduce gap width of gap 1 or
increase gap width of gap 2.
Removal behavior of
scraper knife not perfect,
therefore product jam in
gap 2.
Check function of scraper
knife and/or scraper system,
correct contact pressure if
necessary.
Sealing function of plastic
guide not sufficient any
more.
Check function of plastic
guides, replace if necessary.
Product dries out
in the area of the
plastic guides.
Evaporation of dispersion
agent.
Use solvent dispenser for
guide lubrication (optional)
(see chapter 7.13.2 Optional
accessories).
