3 Carefully slide the replacement module or card into the switch (Figure 319).
4 Align and tighten the captive retaining screws.

Replacing an XGM3/XGM3S Series Port Option Card
in a Summit X460 Series Switch
NOTE
After you replace an XGM3-2sf port option card, you must reboot the switch before the ports on the card
will become operational.
To replace an XGM3/XGM3S seriesport option card:
1 Attach an ESD-preventive wrist strap to your bare wrist and connect the metal end to an appropriate
ground point on the rack.
2 Loosen the captive retaining screws on the option card until they are completely loose (Figure 320).
3 Carefully slide the option card out of the slot (Figure 320).
