Checking the tyre pressure
If the tyre pressure is too low:
– It may displace the position of the tyre and
inner tube on the wheel rim, so that the valve
assumes an oblique position. In this case, the
base of the valve may be torn away from the
inner tube while the bicycle is in use, resulting
in a sudden loss of tyre pressure.
– The tyre may become detached from the
wheel rim on curves
– The frequency of faults is increased.
The higher the body weight and the
load, the higher the tire pressure must
be. The reference values are shown in
the table below. Consider that the values
shown in the table are purely indicative.
If in doubt, contact your dealer or a tire
dealer. Always respect the minimum and
maximum pressure indicated on the tire.
タイヤ空気圧の点検
タイヤの空気圧が低すぎる場合:
– ホイールリム上のタイヤとインナーチューブの
位置がずれて、バルブが斜めになってしまうこ
とがあります。この場合、自転車の使用中にバ
ルブのベース（基部）がインナーチューブから引
き剥がされ、タイヤの圧力が急激に低下するこ
とがあります。
– カーブでタイヤがリムから外れることがありま
す。

故障の頻度が高くなります。
体重や負荷が大きいほど、タイヤの空気圧
を高くする必要があります。下の表に参考
値を示します。表に示されている値はあくま
でも参考値であることをご理解ください。 不
明な点があれば、販売店またはタイヤ販売
店にお問い合わせください。タイヤに表示さ
れている最低・最高空気圧を必ず守ってく
ださい。

– セーフティキャップ「B」を取り外す。
– 空気圧をゲージもしくはエアポンプ（ゲージ付）
を用いて点検。
– 必要に応じ、空気を入れる、若しくは抜いてく
ださい（内部バルブ「C」を押してください）。
– セーフティキャップ「B」を取り付けます。

– Unscrew the safety cap “B”.
– Check the pressure using a pressure gauge, or
a pump with a built-in pressure gauge.
– If necessary, inflate or deflate the tyre (pressing
against the internal valve “C”).
– Replace the safety cap “B”.
