Standard mode The program enters the identifiers in this table automatically
in standard mode.
Compact mode If you wish to use the compact mode, proceed as follows:
1. Delete the identifiers for the standard mode.
2. Select the “Universal module” in the directory \PROFI-
BUS-DP\Further FIELD DEVICES\Festo CP FB13 in the
hardware catalogue and pull it onto line 0 in the table of
DP identifiers in the lower half of the screen. If necessary,
repeat this for a second identifier.
3. Open the mask “Properties - DP slave” by double-clicking
the appropriate line in the configuration table 2 of the
DP slave.
4. Select the identifiers as described in the summary in
Fig. 2/5.
Modifying the address The input addresses and output addresses are assigned
automatically by STEP7. Proceed as follows, if you wish to
modify this address assignment.
Open the mask “Properties - DP slave” by double-clicking the
appropriate line in the configuration table 2 of the DP slave
and modify the starting address of the inputs/outputs.
Please note
The S7-400 controllers always reser ve 4 bytes of ad-
dresses per DP identifiers.
