1.1 Summary of variants
Festo can assist you with your automation problems at
the machine level by means of valve terminals. The
modular structure of the CP system enables you to in-
corporate the CP valve terminals and I/O modules to
best advantage in your machine or system.
Due to its compact structure, the CP valve terminal can
be mounted near to the actuators which it is to control.
This means that shorter compressed air tubing can be
used. Loss of air is therefore minimized and the time
required for pressurizing and exhausting the pressure
tubing is reduced. This is made possible by the use of
very compact valves with high flow which help to redu-
ce costs.
