Rectifying irregularities in operation
Proceed as follows to rectify any irregularities in operation:
1. Switch o the drive assembly if it exhibits irregular behaviour during operation.
2. Refer to the Fault information (Page 110) to nd the cause of the fault.
3. If you still cannot determine the fault cause, contact Flender Customer Services.
7.3 Taking the unit out of service
If you take the unit out of service for a prolonged period, you must take the following measures
depending on the length of time that the gear unit will remain out of service:
• Switch o the drive assembly.
• Applicable to gear units with cooling coil:
– Drain the water from the cooling coil if there is a risk of frost.
– Close the shuto valves for the cooling water inlet and drain lines.
• Take measures to preserve the gear unit if it is to be out of service for a prolonged period.
Follow the procedure described in operating instructions BA 7300.
