Further information
You can nd additional information on the weights and the enveloping surface sound pressure
levels in chapters Weights (Page 125) and Enveloping surface sound pressure level (Page 125).
Further information about these technical data can be found in the separate data sheet and the
dimension drawings in the complete documentation for the gear unit.
B.2 Ambient temperature
Unless otherwise contractually agreed, the gear unit must not be exposed to any harmful
atmospheres or substances such as aggressive chemical products. By applying various suitable
measures, the gear unit can be used in the ambient temperature range extending from -40 °C
up to 60 °C. However, this must always be authorised by Flender and specied in the order text.
B.3 Types
The gear units are designed as ange-mounted units (by shrink-tting of a coupling ange) or
as shaft-mounted units for mounting on the machine shaft. A bell housing or bracket for
supporting the motor and coupling can be ange-mounted at the input end.
