3.17 Bearing monitoring
3.17.1 Bearing monitoring using a Pt 100 resistance thermometer
Depending on the order speci󹪝cation, the gear unit can be equipped with Pt 100 resistance
thermometers to monitor the bearings.
You must connect the Pt 100 resistance thermometer to an evaluation unit provided by the
customer to be able to measure temperatures or temperature di󹪜erences. The resistance
thermometer has a connection head for the wiring. A two-wire circuit is provided in the factory.
However, customers can also con󹪝gure a three or four-wire circuit.
