3.3.2 Enter unlock code in camera
To enter the unlock code in the camera, do the following:
• Move the joystick up/down to select a digit.
• Move the joystick left/right to navigate to the previous/next digit.
• When the last digit has been entered, move the joystick right to select Continue. Push
the joystick to confirm.
3.4 Detect a gas leak
1. Aim the camera toward the object of interest.
2. Adjust the camera focus. If the camera is out of focus, there is a risk of missing a gas
leak.
3. If there is a gas leak, and the gas is one of the gases that the camera can detect, you
will now see the leak on the screen. The leak will look like a smoke plume coming
from the point of the leak.
Note To obtain optimal contrast, try to find a suitable background by aiming the
camera toward the object from different angles.
Using the High Sensitivity Mode (HSM) can improve the detection of gas leaks. For
more information, see section 8.4 High Sensitivity Mode (HSM).
4. To record a video clip, do the following:
4.1. Turn the mode wheel and select Video.
4.2. To start the recording, push the Record button.
4.3. To stop the recording, push the Record button again. The recording is auto-
matically saved.
5. To save an image, do the following:
5.1. Turn the mode wheel and select Camera.
5.2. To save an image, push the Record button.
3.5 Measure a temperature
Note Temperature measurement functionality is available for radiometric cameras.
1. Add a spotmeter: Tap the menu button at the bottom of the screen. On the main tool-
bar, select Measurement > Center spot.
2. Aim the camera toward the object. Make sure the spotmeter is on the point of interest.
3. Adjust the camera focus. This is very important for a correct temperature
measurement.
4. The spotmeter temperature is displayed on the screen.
