6.3 Battery charging
You can charge the battery by using the battery charger and its power supply. When the
battery is in the camera, you can charge the battery by connecting the power supply to
the camera.
CAUTION
When you connect the power supply to a mains socket, select a socket that is easy to access. Should a
hazardous situation occur, you must be able to easily disconnect the power supply.
Note It is good practice to disconnect the power supply from the mains socket when
not in use.
6.3.1 Battery indicator ā charging
During the charging, the battery lights indicate the battery level and the last light is
flashing.
When the battery is fully charged, all lights are steady on for 15 minutes and then turn off.
6.3.2 Charge the battery using the battery charger
1. Put the battery in the battery charger.
2. Connect the power supply to the battery charger.
3. Connect the power supply to a mains socket.
6.3.3 Charge the battery in the camera
1. Open the cover at the rear of the camera.
2. Connect the power supply cable to the power connector in the camera.
3. Connect the power supply to a mains socket.
4. When the charging is completed, disconnect the power supply from the camera.
5. Close the cover. Tighten the screw.
