The Leveled Sine Wave Function
The Leveled Sine Wave (Levsine) function uses a leveled sine wave, whose amplitude
stays relatively constant over a range of frequencies, to verify the bandwidth of the
oscilloscope. When you verify your oscilloscope, you change the frequency of the wave
until the amplitude shown on the oscilloscope drops 30%, which is the amplitude that
refers to the -3 dB point.
To access the Levsine menu, push the softkey below MODE until “levsine” shows, see
below.
Note
Make sure there is no cable connected to TRIG while you use the Levsine function.
