The water chiller is only provided for automated welding applications, and this only
applies to the range of services specied in the technical data. Any other use shall be
deemed to be improper use and the manufacturer will assume no responsibility for any
damages arising.
IMPORTANT! The water chiller does not fulll clean room specications.
The water chiller must not be operated, installed, stored or transported under the follow-
ing conditions:
- Operation outside, exposed to direct sunlight or heat radiation.
- Use in places that are exposed to water, water vapor, steam, salt water or oil, or even
dust and powder material.
- Use in places, exposed to corrosive gases, organic solvents, chemical substances or
ammable gases (cooler is not re-resistent).
- Use in the vicinity of heat sources or in poorly ventilated locations.
- Use under abrupt temperature uctuations.
- Locations, where strong electromagnetic interference (strong electric elds, strong
magnetic elds or voltage spikes) occur; at which static electricity occurs; or environ-
ments that cause the product to electrostatically discharge.
- Places exposed to high frequency radiation (microwaves).
- Location at altitude of 3000m or higher (except during product storage and transport).
- Use in places where the water chiller is exposed to strong vibrations or impacts.
- Environments where strong external forces or a high weight impact can damage the
water chiller.
- Environments that do not have the necessary space for maintenance.
Operational reliability and tips for the user
Intended pur-
pose
Proper use also includes:
- following all the information in the operating instructions
- carrying out all maintenance work at the appropriate intervals
- keeping a service book with the most important data (date, operator, activities carried
out)
- using the spare parts stipulated by Fronius
- using this document in combination with the operating instructions for the integrated
system components (in case of system installation).
IMPORTANT! The water chiller must only be used for its intended purpose, and must
always be kept in perfect condition in terms of its safety features. This is the only way to
ensure that the equipment remains operationally reliable.
Environmental
conditions
Operation or storage of the device outside the stipulated area will be deemed
as not in accordance with the intended purpose. The manufacturer shall not
be held liable for any damage arising from such usage.
Ambient temperature range:
- during operation: +5°C up to +40°C (41°F up to 104°F)
- during transport and storage: 0 °C to +50°C (32 °F to 122°F)
Relative humidity:
- during operation: 30 up to 70%
- during transport and storage: 15 up to 85%
The surrounding air must be free from dust, acids, corrosive gases or substances, etc.
Can be used at altitudes of up to 2000 m (6561 ft. 8.16 in.)
