2.2 Turning On/Off the Printer
2.2.1 Turning On the Printer
• Do not use extension cords or power strips.
• The printer should not be connected to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system.
• After turning on the printer for the first time, set the display language, date and time settings. For details, see "Setting
Initial Settings on the Operator Panel (P.18)."

Connect the power cord to the power connector on the rear of the printer, and then to an electrical
outlet.
