One test may be performed at a time. When a new test is selected, the previous test will be deselected.
Other activities using the [SET], [ACT] or [INF] keys may be performed during the relay test. When the relay
test category is re-selected, the test started earlier will be remembered only if the [END] key has not been
used. If the digital outputs were enabled, the relay will again ask if they should be disabled. If protection was
disabled, the relay will prompt to enable it before proceeding with the tests again.
NOTE: The Disable Output? screen may appear first.
To remove the relay from test mode, the select
1. End Test Mode
and press the [ENT] key. The cursor can be
moved to the item in two ways: by using the arrow keys or by entering [1] followed by [ENT] key. If
1. End Test
Mode
is selected, the message
ON
will be removed from the display line of the item under test and the relay
test terminated.
If outputs have been disabled before the relay test, a prompt appears after the selection of
1. End Test Mode
option, as shown below:
If YES is chosen, the outputs are enabled, the status LED may turn GREEN (if disabling outputs or relay test
was the cause to turn it RED), and the ACT command menu is displayed. If NO is chosen, the outputs remain
disabled, the status LED stays RED and the ACT command menu is displayed. If any other key is pressed, an
error message is generated and [CLR] key must be pressed to clear the message.
The available LPS-O tests and their corresponding numbers are:
