CAUTION
Measure sufficient rope length, as the last two rope windings must al-
ways remain on the cable drum.
Replacing the rope weight

Release the rope clamping screw
(6a) and pull the wire rope (1) out
of the hole on the side of the ca-
ble weight (6).
 Remove one screw (7a) on the
non-twisting device (7) and fold it
to the side.
 Push back the rope wedge (8).
 Lead the new rope in from above
through the rope weight (6),
make a loop, guide the rope end
back and horizontally through the
borehole.

Do not allow the wire rope (1) to protrude at the circumference of
the rope weight (6).
 Use the clamping screw (6a) to firmly clamp the end of the rope.
(Allen key size 3).
 Place the rope wedge (8) into the loop and pull back the rope (1) in
the centre until rope wedge (8) is secure.
 Flip back the non-twisting device (7) and again attach with the screw
(7a).
