MANAGING DECOMPRESSION STOPS
The amount of decompression Credit Time that you receive is dependent on Depth, with slightly
less Credit given the deeper you are below a required Stop Depth.
You should stay slightly deeper (Fig. 52a) than the required Stop Depth indicated (Fig. 52b) until
the next shallower Stop Depth appears. Then, you can slowly ascend to, but not shallower than
that indicated Stop Depth.
WARNING: You should not ascend shallower than the Stop Depth
indicated. Doing so will greatly increase your risk of decompression
sickness and place the ReACT Pro into a Conditional Violation.
Once all required decompression has been completed, the ReACT Pro will revert to the No De-
compression Dive Mode (Fig. 53). This is indicated by NDL appearing = 0:01 in place of TAT,
and the NiBG receding into the Caution Zone.
WARNING: If you exceed certain limits, the ReACT Pro will not be able to
provide information to help you to the surface. These situations exceed
tested limits and can result in loss of some ReACT Pro functions for 24
hours after the dive in which a Violation occurred. It is important to
understand each different Violation Mode and how to carry out emergency
procedures in the event that you enter one.
