External Resistance Control of Current Output
Background
External resistance control of the current output is
accomplished using the analog connector on the
rear panel.
There are two external resistance control ranges,
0~5kΩ and 0~10kΩ, depending on the F-97
configuration. See page 110 for details.
The output current (0 to full scale) can be
controlled with the external resistance rising
0kΩ~5kΩ/0kΩ~10kΩ or falling
5kΩ~0kΩ/10kΩ~0kΩ.
Rising:
For 0kΩ~10kΩ: Output current = full scale current
× (external resistance/10)
For 0kΩ~5kΩ: Output current = full scale current ×
(external resistance/5)
Falling:
For 10kΩ~0kΩ: Output current = full scale current
× ([10-external resistance]/10)
For 5kΩ~0kΩ: Output current = full scale current ×
([5-external resistance]/5)
