CHECKING AND CLEANING THE FLUE GAS FAN
1. Set the control to the operating mode OFF.
✓ The OFF symbol lights up.
2. Allow the fire in the heating system to burn out and cool down.
3. Turn the main switch off.
7. Check whether the flue gas fan (1) is dirty and clean it with a steel
brush if needed.
8. Mount the flue gas fan in the reverse sequence.
9. Switch the heating system on again.

✓ The inspection and cleaning of the flue gas fan is completed.
The flue gas fan is only available with the HDG Compact 25/35
boiler.

Warning!
Risk of injury from automatically driven components
When working on the flue gas fan, unexpected start-up of the fan
wheel poses the danger of hand injuries.
Switch the heating system off before performing any cleaning or
maintenance work on the flue gas fan.
4. Pull the plug of the flue gas
fan cable out of the plug
board.
5. Release the four M8 screws (2)
using a 13 mm spanner.
6. Pull the flue gas fan (1) out to-
ward the back to remove it.
