7 Cleaning and servicing the heating system – Requirements

CLEANING THE CONTROL UNIT
1. Clean the control unit with a moist, lint-free cloth.
2. For stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent.
3. Wipe the control unit dry with a soft cloth.
The control unit has been cleaned.
CHECK AND CLEAN THE CLEANING SHAFT AND TURBULATORS
1. Set the control to the operating mode OFF.
The OFF symbol lights up.
2. Allow the fire in the heating system to burn out and cool down.
3. Remove the three hoods (1).
4. Move the cleaning system downward in manual operation.

Important!

Warning!
Danger of injury
The cleaning shaft lid is very heavy and can fall shut. Hands and
arms could thereby be crushed.
Take care not to bump into the opened cleaning shaft lid and cause
it to fall shut.
