7.1 Communicating With a Computer
By using the supplied USB cable, you can send data to your
computer or control the instrument from the computer.
For more information, see the manual on the CD.
The computer uses the virtual COM port as the USB interface.
• Insert the connector in the proper direction when connecting
the USB cable.
• The display will show the [PC] segments when communications
are in progress through the USB cable.
• Do not disconnect the USB cable during USB communications.
The dedicated computer application software will display a
warning message when communications fail due to cable
disconnection. Connect the USB cable again.
