The branch circuit to be installed on the customer’s power distribution panel must
be a circuit breaker (CB) in compliance with the requirements in Table 5-5. In
addition, follow the guidelines below.
Do not connect other electrical devices to this branch circuit.
Total load of the branch circuit must be under 80–90 percent of the rating.
Prepare a backup circuit to the power distribution panel based on possible device
additions in future.
Locate the device as close as possible to the power distribution panel for ease of
maintenance.
