All safety signs and their locations affixed on the machine
are illustrated in this group. Make sure of the contents de-
scribed in the safety signs through reading actual ones af-
fixed on the machine to ensure safe machine operation.
Always keep the safety signs clean. In case a safety sign
is broken or lost, immediately, obtain a new replacement
and affix it again in position on the machine. Use the part
No. indicated under the right corner of each safety sign il-
lustration when placing an order of it to the Hitachi dealer.

Sign indicates a hazard of being crushed or run over by
unexpected moving of stopped machine.
Lower working device to ground, move safety lever to
lock position and take engine key with you before leav-
