Death or serious injury may result if you attempt to mount
or stop a moving machine.
To avoid rollaways:
• Select level ground when possible to park machine.
• Do not park the machine on a grade.
• Lower the bucket to the ground.
• Place the F-N-R lever in neutral, and put the park brake
switch in the ON (parking brake) position.
• Run the engine at slow idle speed without load for 5 min
-
utes to cool down the engine.
• Stop the engine and remove the key from the key switch.
• Pull the lock lever to LOCK position.
• Block both tires and lower the bucket to the ground.
• Position the machine to prevent rolling.
• Park a reasonable distance from other machines.
