Connecting a CE Tool to the GSP Using the Customer LAN

NOTE If you are unable to connect to the GSP using the crossover cable, you can
connect by attaching an RS-232 cable between your laptop and the Local RS-232
port on the GSP. See “Connecting the CE Tool to the Local RS-232 Port on the
GSP (Recommended)” on page 57. It takes a few moments for the GSP prompt to
appear. If it does not, make sure your laptop serial device settings are correct (8
bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, 9600 baud, and Xon/Xoff), then, try again.
