Using Bluetooth
Supported Services
The functions that Bluetooth supports are called services. You
can communicate only with Bluetooth devices that support at
least one of the following service profiles:
â–  BPP (Basic Printer profile)
â–  DUN (Dial-up Networking profile)
â–  FAX
â–  FTP (File Transfer profile)
â–  GAP (Generic Access profile)
â–  HCRP (Hard Cable Replacement profile)
â–  HSP (Headset profile)
â–  LAP (LAN Access profile)
â–  OBEX (Object Exchange profile)
â–  OPP (Object Push profile)
â–  PAN (Personal Area Network profile)
â–  SPP (Serial Port profile)
â–  ActiveSync (Uses SPP to connect to ActiveSync on a
computer)
Working with Bluetooth Settings
From the tabs in Bluetooth Settings, you can:
â–  Select or add a user profile
â–  Turn Bluetooth on and off
â–  Enter or change your Pocket PC Bluetooth Identification
â–  Set your connection preferences
â–  Enable Bluetooth services
â–  Specify security settings
