Procedure
Step 1 Make a note of the cable connection and ports of the VCN500 to be replaced using the
marker.
Step 2 Shut down the VCN500, and disconnect the power plug.
Step 3 Remove all cables from the VCN500.
Step 4 Use a screwdriver to remove the VCN500 and install a new VCN500.
1. Push the VCN500 into the cabinet along the guide rails and gently press down the
buttons on the upper and lower mounting ears, as shown in Figure 5-23.

2. Tighten the captive screws in the ears using a Phillips screwdriver to close the mounting
ear buttons, as shown in Figure 5-24.
