Procedure
Step 1 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the emergency start and abort buttons,
as shown in Figure 5-47.

Step 2 Pry the cover of the emergency start/abort buttons from the base using a flat-head screwdriver
to separate them.
Step 3 Connect the cable to the new emergency start/abort buttons using a Phillips screwdriver.
Ensure that the polarities of the cable are correct.
Power on the emergency start/abort switches only after the cables are correctly connected.
Step 4 Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws on the new emergency start/abort buttons.
Step 5 Check that the new emergency start/abort buttons are working properly.
If the running indicator of the new emergency start/abort buttons is on after the switches are powered on,
the buttons are working properly.
