the following figure. This step uses the access controller that connects to the COM1 port
on the MUS02A3 expansion card as an example.
The default value of COM1 Baud Rate is 9600. Change the value to 19200.

2. Click Submit.
Step 3 Add the ECC500 on the NetEco.
1. Choose System > Configuration Management > Data Center Planning from the main
menu. The Data Center Planning window is displayed.
2. Create an equipment room, set its management properties, and save the setting.
3. Click Cabinet, select Design, select Collector for Device, and drag the ECC500
collector to the cabinet.
4. Set the management properties of the ECC500 collector and click . Table 8-3 lists
the mapping between the parameters on the ECC500 and those on the NetEco.

Step 4 Add the A8802RS access controller on the NetEco.
1. Choose System > Configuration Management > Data Center Planning from the main
menu and select the cabinet that houses the ECC500 collector.
2. Select Access Controller for Device and drag the A8802RS access controller to the
management domain.
3. Access the management properties. Set IP Address to the IP address of the ECC500
collector, set Port to the port number used by the access controller to connect to the
COM port, and click Connection Test.
When Connection Success is displayed, the connection is successful.
The RS485 communications card can be inserted into any one or more slots among slots 1-4 on the
ECC500 V6 collector. The RS485 port numbers vary based on slots. Figure 8-14 shows the ECC500 V6
collector slots. Table 8-4 shows the mappings between slots and port numbers.
