The auger
is not
activated
when the
cutting
deck is
lowered.
Collection
unactivated.
1 Make sure that the auger control switch turns
green.
Press the button until
the color changes
and a short beep is
heard.
Blown fuse. 2 Measure the voltage on J6 (pin 3) with the key in
“ON” position. The voltage should be equal to the
battery voltage.
Replace fuse.
Lift lever
switch.
3 Check that the microswitch changes the position
when the lift lever is lifted.
Replace the micro
switch.
Solenoid
clutch.
4 Measure the resistance between the pins of the
solenoid clutch. The resistance should be about
3 ohms at room temperature.
Repair the solenoid
clutch.
Wiring fault. 5 Measure the resistance between Pin 7 of
connector to Auger Control switch and the red
cable into the connector for solenoid clutch. The
resistance should be close to 0 ohms.
Go to step 7.
6 Measure the resistance between the grounding
point and the black cable connector for solenoid
clutch. The resistance should be close to 0 ohms.
Go to step 8.
7 Disconnect the front harness connector.
Measure the resistance between pin 7 of the
connector to the auger control switch and Pin 1
front harness connector. The resistance should
be close to 0 ohms.
If the resistance is
low, replace the front
frame harness. If the
resistance is low
change the auger
control harness.
8 Disconnect the front harness connector.
Measure the resistance between the grounding
point and Pin 2 of the front harness connector.
The resistance should be close to 0 ohms.
If the resistance is
low, replace the front
frame harness. If the
resistance is low
change the auger
control harness.
Auger control
switch.
9 Measure the voltage of the auger control switch
when the lift lever is lowered.
Replace the auger
control switch.
The
product
beeps (3
Hz) when
the cutting
deck is
lowered.
Safety switch
not activated.
10 Examine the switch indicated on the panel. Replace the switch.
Wiring fault. 11 Check the wiring from the Auger control unit to
the respective safety switch.
Repair the cable or
replace the cabling.
The
product
beeps
constantly
when the
cutting is
lowered.
The auger
does not
rotate.
12 Check that the screw can rotate freely.
Rotation
Sensor does
not work.
13 Check that the sensor is close enough (about 1
mm) pulley and the signal is pulsed when the
holes passing through the sensor.
Reposition / replace
sensor.
Wiring fault. 14 Check the wiring from the Auger control switch
for the rotation sensor.
Repair the cable or
replace the cabling.
Lift lever
switch.
15 Check the switch. Go to step 3.
