If desired, you can install an operating system on each node. Then, you can use this
configuration to boot each blade individually if you need increased flexibility. You can use the
temporary boot in stand-alone mode in the complex scaling section, as shown in Figure 8-28
on page 394, which allows you to temporarily boot each node separately without having to
delete the 2-node configuration.
