At this point, you have completed the process of configuring the embedded ESXi 4.1 on the
HX5 with MAX5.
Attaching MAX5 to an existing embedded ESXi 4.1 configuration
The easiest way to add the MAX5 to an existing installation of ESX 4.1 or an ESXi 4.1
Installable running on an HX5 is to use the following steps:
1. Connect to the relevant ESX 4.1 or ESXi 4.1 Installable server by logging in to it using the
VMware vSphere Client.
2. Select the Configuration tab of the host and click Advanced Settings in the Software
panel, as shown in Figure 8-55 on page 419.
