D Priority watch (PRIO)
Activates priority watch or priority watch with priority beep.
(default: OFF)
•OFF :TheprioritywatchisturnedOFF.
•On :Thetransceiverchecksthememorychannelfrequency
every 5 seconds.
•bELL :Thetransceiverchecksthememorychannelfrequency
every 5 seconds. You can be alerted with beeps and a
blinking “S” icon.
D Scan pause timer (PAUSE)
Selects the scan pause time. When receiving signals, the
scan pauses according to the scan pause timer. (default: 10)
•2–20 :Scanpausesfor2–20secondswhilereceivingasignal
in 2 seconds steps.
•HOLd :Scanpausesonareceivedsignaluntilitdisappears.
D Scan resume timer (RESUME)
Selects the scan resume time of a pause after the received
signal disappears. (default: 2)
•0 :Scan resumesimmediately afterthe receivedsignal
disappears.
•1–5 :Scanpauses1–5secondsafterthereceivedsignaldis-
appears.
•HOLd :Scanremainspausedonthereceivedsignalaccording
to the scan pause timer, even if it disappears. Rotate
[DIAL] to manually resume the scan.
The scan resume timer must be set shorter than the scan
pause timer (previous item), otherwise this timer will not be
activated.
D Program skip scan (P SKIP)
Turns the programmed skip scan function ON or OFF for
a VFO scan operation (full scan, programmed scan, etc.).
(default: On)
