■ General
D Entering and using the Set mode
The Set mode is used to change the settings of the trans-
ceiver
’s functions.
q Push [SET] to enter the Set mode.
w Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired set item.
e Rotate [VOL] to set the desired value or option.
r Push [V/M/C] to return to frequency display, or repeat
steps w and e to set other items.

D Entering and using the Initial set mode
The Initial set mode can be accessed at power ON, and al-
lows you to set seldom-changed settings to suit your prefer-
ence and operating style.
q Push and hold [
] for 1 sec. to turn the power OFF.
w While continuing to push [SET], turn the power ON to
enter the Initial set mode.
e Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired set item.
r Rotate [VOL] to set the desired value or option.
t Push [
] to return to the frequency display, or repeat
steps w and e to set other items.
