Argument settings dialog box
Select a user-defined macro or edit the user-defined macro with the selected number.
(1) User-defined Macro List
Select a user-defined macro. Enter the name of the user-defined macro.
(2) New
Creates a new user-defined macro number.
(3) Delete
Deletes a registered user-defined macro.
(4) Number of arguments
Selects the number of arguments to use. You can specify the number between 0 and 100.
(5) Device Type
Selects the device type of each argument. When using an argument device in the user-defined macro, it will operate as the
device type specified here.
(6) Tag Name for Arguments
Sets a tag name for the argument.
(7) Comment for Arguments
Sets a comment for the argument.
(8) Protect User-defined Macro ladder program
Select the Protect User-defined Macro ladder program check box to allow setting a password for the user-defined
macro. When protection is enabled, you will be prompted to enter the password when displaying the ladder program for the
user-defined macro.
For example, enable this option to allow the use of the created user-defined macro, but also to keep the ladder program for
the user-defined macro private.
