To unlock the keyboard, simply press the * key for 3 seconds. The message will appear:
Unlocked terminal keyboard
Note: while the terminal is on a call, the keyboard will unlock.
Consulting the conguration of the programmable keys of the terminal and the modules
For a query about the conguration of a programmable key you must enter the Key Conguration menu, choose the
key you want to query and navigate to the Verify key conguration option. Upon entering this option, a message will
be displayed with the programming of the selected key. If the key has no conguration, the following message will be
displayed:

The rst time the modules are connected to the terminal, their keys will be congured as an extension according to the
installed capacity in the exchange.
Audible alerts (beeps) emitted by the terminal
Off-hook handset
Occurs when the user takes the handset off the hook to perform an operation and, at the end of the operation, forgets the
phone off-hook (receiving busy tone from the PABX). After 5 seconds in the busy state, the PBX stops sending the tone,
leaving it muted. This new state (mute) receives the name of inoperative extension and, after 2 minutes in this condition,
the terminal starts to generate a beep every 3 seconds, in order to warn about this condition.
Note: factory default, Mute.
Pressed key
Occurs whenever a key is pressed.
Reminder
Indicates a reminder programmed by the user for the current time. The reminder beep has the following construction: there
are four successive beeps followed by a pause, and this cadence is repeated twenty times.
Message
Messages received from the PABX and others generated by the terminal itself will be notied through beeps that occur as
soon as the message appears on the display.
Note: » The volume of each of the beeps is set in the conguration menu.
» When the terminal is in environment monitoring no beep will be generated.
» When the terminal is programming, phone book or calling, the only possible beeps will be: key pressed beep,
reminder beep, or message beep.
