Checking the Slew Gearbox Oil Level -
Mini CX 4x4
1 Park the machine on level ground and stop the
engine.
2 Remove plug P and check that oil is visible on the
plug spigot.
3 If the level is low, fill with new oil until oil runs from the
hole. For recommended oil grade
K Fluids,
Lubricants and Capacities ( T 3-11).
4 Refit plug P.
5 Operate the slew service fully in each direction five
times.
6 Remove plug P and re-check oil level. If level is low,
repeat steps 3 to 5 until all air is expelled.
