Pressure Testing
Main Relief Valve (MRV) - In situ
Remove front floor plate K Floor Plates ( T B-1).
Connect a 0 - 400 bar (0 - 6000 lb/in

, 0 - 422 kg/cm

pressure gauge to test connector A located on the
pressure port of the loader pump.

With the engine running at maximum speed, check the
setting of the M.R.V. B by lowering the loader arm until the
rams are fully closed and noting the maximum gauge
reading. Keep clear of the loader arm. The maximum
pressure should be as stated in Technical Data.
If the pressure is incorrect, remove the excavator pod to
gain access to the excavator valve block.
Remove cover 1, slacken lock nut 2 and adjust screw 3.
Turn it clockwise to increase pressure and anti-clockwise
to decrease the pressure. When the pressure is correct,
tighten lock nut 2 and replace cover 1.
