Parking Brake
Removal and Replacement
Removal
1 Park the machine on level ground and block all four
wheels to prevent the machine from moving. Stop the
engine and remove the starter key.
2 Remove the rear floor plate.
3 Release the parking brake lever and slacken the
outer cable lock nuts at the calliper. Remove the
clevis from the end of the cable then remove the cable
assembly from the caliper.
Note: The brake pads can be replaced without
disconnecting the cable from the calliper.
4 Unscrew the calliper retaining bolts and lift the calliper
off the disc.
Replacement
Replace the calliper assembly by reversing the removal
sequence.
Adjust the cable as necessary and carry out the parking
brake test.
