Pump Assembly Series 1 Machines
Removal
Disconnect the battery. Remove the front floor plate.
Unscrew the hydraulic filler cap to release pressure in the
hydraulic tank.
Disconnect the service pump suction hose A and quickly
plug to avoid excessive oil loss. Disconnect and plug the
pressure hose B.
Disconnect the charge pump suction hose C and quickly
plug to avoid excessive oil loss. Disconnect and plug the
motor feed hoses D and E.
Disconnect the forward/reverse cable clevis and damper
unit from the pump operating lever at F.
Remove bracket fixing bolts G and lift the bracket, cable
and damper clear of the pump unit.
Slacken the pump unit mounting bolts H and support the
weight of the unit using suitable lifting equipment.
Remove two bolts H and ease the unit away from the
engine. Once the pump unit has separated from the engine
coupling, it can be lifted clear.
