Opening and Closing the Engine Cover

WARNING
The engine has exposed rotating parts. Switch OFF the
engine before working in the engine compartment. Do
not use the machine with the engine cover open.

CAUTION
Do not use the machine with the engine exposed.

Mini CX - Unlock the knob A with the key provided and turn
the knob to release the cover.

Mini CX 4x4 - Unlock the handle B on top of the cover and
lift the handle to release the cover.

The cover will spring open. Lift the cover forward to fully
open.
To close the engine cover, lower the cover and allow it to
slam shut.
Lock the cover and remove the key.
Removing the Front Floor Plate
To carry out some servicing procedures, you must remove
the front floor plate.
1 Remove the pedal(s) A by releasing the clamping
screws.
2 Remove the four bolts B holding the floor plate in
position.
3 Carefully lift the floor plate away from the machine.
