Spool Open Selected - 1
The illustration K Fig 30. ( T E-38) shows the service
selected. The spool is moved by the control lever.
The oil entering the valve block flows past the spool A and
is then diverted by the spool to load hold check valve B
which at this stage remains closed. The valve opens only
when the supply oil pressure rises above the service line
pressure. This prevents unwanted ram movement due to a
possible momentary fall in line pressure.
