Transmission Pump Neutral Adjustment
- Series 1 Machines
This procedure may be carried out if the machine creeps
when the drive pedal is in the neutral position.
Adjustment
This fault may be due to incorrect setting of the control
pedal cable which can be adjusted as follows:
1 Raise and support the rear of the machine so that the
rear wheels are clear of the ground. Stop the engine.
2 Remove the front floor plate.
3 Check that the control pedal and cable moves freely.
Lubricate if necessary.
4 Slacken the control cable locking nuts A. Start the
engine then reposition the lock nuts so that no wheel
movement occurs. Finally tighten the lock nuts.
Note: A slight movement when the wheels are raised is
acceptable provided that no movement occurs when the
machine is resting on the ground.
