Control Piston Cover Seals
Removal
1 Remove lock nut A whilst holding adjustment screw B
to prevent it moving.
2 Measure the distance that the adjustment screw
protrudes from the cover C.
3 Mark the position of the cover relative to the pump
housing.
4 Remove the four cover securing screws.
5 Remove the cover by unscrewing it from the
adjustment screw B.
6 Remove ‘O’ ring D from the groove in the cover and
‘O’ ring E from the groove in the adjustment screw.
Replacement
1 Fit ‘O’ ring D into the groove in the cover and ‘O’ ring
E into the groove in the adjustment screw.
2 Screw cover C onto adjustment screw B until the
marks align and the adjustment screw protrudes by
the amount measured during dismantling.
3 Fit the cover securing screws.
4 Fit lock nut A and tighten whilst holding the
adjustment screw B to prevent it moving.
