Level Control
You can enable the various fields listed in the Level Control section of Table 23 to be written to the serial/console log within
the Level Control menu for the iSTAR controller.
NOTE
Contact Software House Technical Support before enabling level control options.
Reader and I/O
The Reader & I/O section displays information about devices, such as readers, that communicate with iSTAR Edge G2. The
Reader and I/O section also displays diagnostic output for iSTAR readers and cards.
You can perform reader and input/output diagnostics from the Reader and I/O menu by checking the Enable checkbox and
then clicking the save icon to display information from the fields listed in the Reader and I/O section of Table 23
NOTE
Enabling Reader and I/O diagnostics degrades iSTAR controller performance. Disable this when not in use.
iSTAR Databases
In the database table, you can click the following database names to display more details about the selected database:
• Personnel – Displays personnel records.
