Thisisafunctionthatmovestheservostooptionalpositionsthatwerepreviouslysetinthe
situationwherethereceivercannotnormallyreceivetheradiowavesfromthetransmitter.As
itwillbeparticularlydangerouswhenthemotivepowerisleftrunninginanout-of-control
situation,becertaintoimplementthesesettings.
SettingMethod
Thisfunctionallowsselectionstobemadeforeachchannelinanout-of-controlsituationas
“HOLD”,whichmaintainsthepositionsastheywereimmediatelybeforetheradiowaves
werelost,oras“FAILSAFE”whichswitchestooptionalservopositionswhenatimeperiodof
0.5secondorlongerhaspassedsincetheradiowaveshavebeenlost.
Changetheswitchesofeachofthechannelsonthescreentomakethesettings.The
inputtingofeachoftheFailSafepositionsiscarriedoutbyoperatingthesticktothedesired
positionandholdingittherewhilepressingthe“CLEAR”keyattheleftofthescreen.

motivepowerchannelssettotheslowestspeed.
・IftheReverseSwitchesorStickModearechangedaftersettingtheFailSafe,themotive
powermaybesettotheFullThrottleposition.Inordertoavoidmakingdangerousmis-
takes,becertaintoremembertoimplementtheFailSafesettingsaftercompletingthe
aircraftset-up.
・Beforeflying,becertaintoconfirmbyswitchingoffthetransmitterpowerthateachof
theaircraftservosmovestotheFailSafepositionsasintended.
