3. Draft Offset
•Using this item, you can set the average draft (vertical distance
between the Transducer surface and the sea surface) of your vessel.
Usually the fish finder displays echoes from the area under the
transducer surface. When you add the draft offset, the echoes are
shifted lower by the amount of the draft offset and all echoes are with
respect to the water line.
•Press the
up or down to select DRAFT and push it in to
open the draft offset value setting pull-down menu. Press the
up or down to set a draft offset value. The draft offset values
range between 0.0m and 5.0m, and you can set a draft offset value in
increments of 0.1 units.
When depth units other than MT (meter) are selected, the upper limit
of the draft range is the value equivalent to 5.0 m.
4. Keel Height Offset
•Using this item, you can set the distance between the bottom surface
of the keel of your vessel (the deepest portion of the hull) and the
Transducer surface. Usually, the fish finder indicates the water depth
calculated based on the distance between the transducer surface and
the seabed. When you add the keel height offset value, the water
depth indicates the distance between the bottom surface of the keel
and the seabed, providing you with the precise distance between the
hull bottom and the seabed.
•Press the
up or down to select KEEL HEIGHT and push it
in to open the keel height offset value setting pull-down menu. Press
the
up or down to set a keel height offset value. The offset
values range between 0.0 and 5.0 m, and you can set the offset value
in increments of 0.1 units.
When depth units other than MT (meter) are selected, the upper limit
of the draft range is the value equivalent to 5.0 m.
