Navigation Mode Operations
The Trip Log modes (STD/NAV1, STD/NAV2) provide GOTO,
EVENT and WAYPOINT skip functions to facilitate navigation
when you navigate to stored waypoints or you navigate from a route
plan list. You can use these functions with soft keys dedicated to this
mode.
These functions and operations are described below.
GOTO Selected Waypoint
•You can use this function to enter the NAVIGATION mode when
you navigate directly to a stored waypoint.
•Push
to display the WAYPOINT list. Press the up
or down to select a waypoint. Push the in to open the
GOTO WPT xxx. Push the in again to set the waypoint and
activate the NAVIGATION mode. Select NO and push the
in to cancel the waypoint and return to the WAYPOINT list.
Note:
You cannot change the AUTO mode when the NAVIGATION mode
is activated.
Store an Event
•You can use this function when you want to store the current position
of your vessel to the WAYPOINT list.
•Push the
in to display the WAYPOINT list. An unoccupied
WAYPOINT number is selected automatically. When all
WAYPOINT numbers are occupied, WAYPOINT number 001 is
selected. Select another number if you do not want to overwrite
WAYPOINT number 001. Push the in to display the
current position of your vessel in the pull-down menu. Press the
up or down, or to the left or right, to enter the WAYPOINT
name. Push the in to store the WAYPOINT.
