Alarm Settings
The FF50 provides three fish finding alarms, three water temperature
alarms, four navigation alarms and a function to turn the alarm buzzer
on or off. Use appropriate alarms for safer navigation and more
efficient fish finding. The functions and operations are described
below.
Fish Alarm
When turned on, this alarm shows a message on the screen and also
sounds the buzzer when a school of fish of level 7 or more is detected
in the area between the zero line and the sea bottom.
•Push
to display the ALARM menu.
Press the
up or down to select FISH and push it in to
display the FISH ALARM ON/OFF setting pull-down menu.
Select ON and push the
in to turn the FISH ALARM on.
Select OFF and push the
in to turn the Fish ALARM off.
Push
to mute the FISH ALARM temporarily.
(The FISH ALARM itself is not cancelled.)
Shallow Alarm
When turned on, this alarm shows a message on the screen and also
sounds the buzzer when the water depth is at or less than the
operators preset shallow depth value.
